Audi has officially confirmed that their baby crossover - Audi Q3 production began in seat in Martorell plant, Spain. Audi Q3 is the smallest crossover built by Audi till date and will be the first competitor to the BMW X 1.
To build up the production of the Q3, Audi has increased the size of the 323 000 square foot plant, added 700 new robots and created 700 new jobs. All members of staff have been developed through a programme of training of 180 hours in the third quarter.

Audi Q3 has been of great interest to the ICC because this baby crossover will soon enter the Indian market. Audi India intends to meet the T3 in Aurangabad to make cost effective as BMW X 1.
We can expect safe Audi for the Q3 during the Auto Expo next year and put on the market in the first half of 2012.
