Report: Volvo reflect the range of models for the U.S. thinness, the addition of finance arm

    According to Automotive News, CEO of Volvo Stefan Jacoby has said that the automaker will probably be "[his] trim line of products" to the United States over the next few years. Jacoby not revealed exactly what models will be cut, but instead, says that commodities company here in the States will be the S60 sedan and the XC60 and XC90 crossovers.

    Volvo has already announced that it plans to stop selling carts V50 and V70 according to Tamara Darvish, the owner of a dealer Volvo in Rockville, Maryland, the phase and the United States likely will company of sales of the S40 sedan. Our own speculations suggest that C30 premium trap may be on the axe as well.


    Jacoby has said repeatedly that Volvo will sell 120,000 vehicles a year at the United States by 2020. In 2010, Volvo succeeded in moving vehicles 53,948, and current data suggest that the company is on track to sell between 60,000 and 70,000 vehicles at the United States in 2011.


    Automotive News also reports Volvo is looking to start its own finances in captivity arms here in the United States "We are committed to increase sales here," Jacoby said, saying that a decision on such division of finance would be taken by the end of the year. If the plan gets the green light, it is likely involves a joint venture with a bank or other financial service institution. Currently, Volvo dealers often get funding from the American Bank.
